NEW LOOK, SAME OLD JETS? |
 |

I liked the team because there always were underdogs and tried to come back. Then they drafted Keyshawn Johnson, the USC star receiver who was suppose to help NYJ. Then they got Vinny TEstaverde and new look uniforms - with Curtis Martin as a new RB they won AFC in 1998... After that they could never repeat that success again, lost Keyshawn, and have been average since. They have drafted few players who haven't been contributing and got a new coach in 2001 in attempt to recapture the success Jets used to have.

WORKHORSE NAMED MARTIN |

This guy is unbelievable. 1000 yeards rusing seasons, his touches carry about 40% of the Jets office, and I'm not talking about the durability and strength of this guy - he is a true blue collar workhorse for NYJ.

VINNY THE WHO? |

Last year he threw for more interceptions than touchdowns, this year he barely threw at all. It is time for a nother quarterback? Well, Jets still belive in Testaverde's abilities, but they need to get better receivers to compliment his talent.
