  •   MY PLAYING EXPERIENCE - season of 2000

What a hit - my buddy DB Ross Stewart crushes South Dakota Tech quarterback during the game in SD. VCSU Vikings play in DAC-10, conference consisting of 10 teams from North and South Dakota, a part of NAIA - NAtional Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (not NCAA). For a small school VCSU has a fierce competition with many bigger schools. VCSU recruits locally, from Alaska, Florida, and sometimes Nevada and California.
So how did I start playing anyway? Well, I lived in college during summer between my first and second years and the team's kicker, Eddie also lived there. We hang out together all summer and when the season got closer hew started to practice - i went with him and kick few balls. I knocked couple of them, next thing you know Eddie told the head coach and I was on the team... I didn't mind the practices, but now I know how much time sports takes away. But overall, it was fun!
