  •   GOOD PHILOSOPHY! - seeing good in bad! (5th Element)

I love outdoors. Too bad I have little time to get out. Here in the good old USA it is hard to do. I'll explain why. In Kazakhstan, the land is open. If you want to go camping, get away as far as you can to the forest or the mountains, and you can be there as long as you want - camp, make fires, cook food, drink vodka. That what I was used to when I was a kid. No restrictions, no permits, no nothing, just fun. Oh, and one more thing - no people!

Here everywhere you go you see fences, someone's private property. If you want to go camping, have to go to National Parks and pay fees to get in. Well, I usually camp to get away from people, but you always see damn tourists in those national parks. Not good... But I still go because each park has something unique.

Half-Dome at sunrise, Yosemite National Park
YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, CA  - breathtaking views of valley
YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, WY  - Old Faithful is a must see attraction
MT. RUSHMORE NATIONAL PARK, SD  - great places, great faces
ZION NATIONAL PARK, UT  - one of the Utah's great natural wonders.
ARCHES NATIONAL PARK, UT  - too far away from everything, but worth the trip.
